This is half of my trade with ~4-th. She wanted me to do Squall smiling! o_O
I did it with same techique than Paul's, but as you might see, I put less (much less) effort than this one. Oh, sorry about that ~4-th!! The eyes suck and the neck and the t-shirt and... u_u. Sorry, I'm sleepy. I need to study.

[edit] As promised to ~4-th, I did this editing. Some people said the neck looked like fabric, and my mom said she didn't like the hair, and I saw the T-shirt had no texture, and so on...

I have to give you a lot of credit for this. It's really fine work! One caveat is that his skin is maybe too palid for Squall. His face has a bit more sun-tanned golden feel to it.

When I first saw the full-view of this picture, I was atonished by your style, your realism gave me the feeling that I was watching a Renaissance painting... I'm amazed still. I love the title "Smiling Squall"... ;)

i saw your avatar first and thought that looks like squall, i wonder if it is him, but then not thought nah, what are the chances. but it is!!! just goes to show how well you captured his image - fantastic!
